 Dr.
Laurie McCabe joined Burleigh Road Animal Hospital in June
of 2002. The hospital was built and opened for business
in 1955 by Dr.Edward Braun. Though the hospital is not new,
numerous improvements and additions have been made throughout
the years, while still retaining the character and charm
of the original hospital.
In 1992, after nearly 40 years of owning the hospital, Dr. Braun passed
the business to his associate, Dr. Thomas Christie. Dr. Braun continued
as an associate until December 2001.
Burleigh Road Animal Hospital was purchased in 2002 by Dr. McCabe and her late
husband, Dr. Kevin McCabe (Doctor of Chiropractic). Dr. McCabe and her dedicated
doctors and staff are constantly striving to maintain the highest standards of
the veterinary profession, and live daily by our motto “Where
your pet is our pet”. Our hospital is constantly
growing and evolving to keep up with the dynamic science and art of veterinary
medicine.
 Location: 13725 West Burleigh Road. We are located east
of Lilly Road and west of 124th street on Burleigh Road in Brookfield. We are
south of Capitol Drive and north of North Avenue.
Hours: Monday, Thursday, & Friday from 8:00 a.m.-
6:00 p.m., Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., and Saturdays
from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Appointments: In order to allow sufficient time for our
patients, we see patients by appointment. Although walk-ins are accepted
as our schedule permits, we recommend that you call us at 262-781-4400 to schedule
an appointment to avoid any delays.
Drop Offs: Because we understand that busy schedules can make
it difficult to bring in your pet, we also offer the option of dropping off your
pet with pick up in the late afternoon or evening. Please
call us at 262-781-4400 to arrange for a drop-off for your pet if that suits
your schedule best.
Charges for Services: Fees charged for
services are based on amounts needed to maintain the excellence
of care we are proud to provide. Payment is required
at the time service is rendered unless prior arrangements
have been made. For your convenience, we accept Visa,
MasterCard, Discover, personal checks, money orders and cash.
